Artist Statement
I believe art should complement the space it inhabits and elevate it toward completion.
My work is created at scale, with attention to architecture, proportion, light, and atmosphere. Each piece is intended to enhance what is already there — adding presence, balance, and a final layer of character to the room.

Each piece is created at full scale from the beginning, so its movement, proportion, and presence are considered as part of the space it will ultimately inhabit.
About
The Artist
Buffy Gratton creates large-scale original work from her studio in Bee Cave, Texas, with a focus on expansive interiors where scale, architecture, and atmosphere matter.
Her work is created for hotel and residential lobbies, corporate spaces, atriums, and other open interiors — with each piece developed to complement its surroundings while bringing color, movement, and presence to the room.
She is a current artist member of the Bee Cave Arts Foundation and the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in Omaha, Nebraska.

Select original work and curated collections are available for wholesale partnerships with home décor retailers. Wholesale offerings can be developed with your customer, aesthetic, and merchandising environment in mind, creating a collection that feels distinctive while remaining true to the work.
Commercial
Hotel lobbies, corporate offices, residential developments, and civic spaces often call for artwork with greater scale and presence. Pieces can be developed in response to the architecture and overall design, with proportions suited to expansive, double-height, and open-plan interiors.
Built for Scale
Large spaces allow the work to expand with them. For architectural-scale installations, pieces can be created across multiple panels that reassemble seamlessly on site, making even sweeping atriums and double-height entries possible.
